Germany put on a dominant display to knock England out of the 2010 World Cup with a 4-1 scoreline. While even the most ardent German supporters would have backed their team for a win, even a 4-1 scoreline would have been unimaginable prior to kick-off.
Unless they had paid attention to Paul the Octopus who apparently has had a 100% record at the World Cup so far. He had apparently predicted an emphatic win for the Germans against their auld enemy.
